Rotting Zombies

The very first thing you notice is the horrible stench – it almost makes you vomit. You have heard that most competitors face a skeleton as their first challenge. You, however, are one of the few (un)lucky enough to get something else. In your case – three rotting zombies, the source of the stench. They immediately notice you and start slowly walking towards you, while the stone door behind you slams shut.

Using your own step as a measure you estimate that the first one is about five steps away, the second is about seven steps away, and the last one is about ten steps away. With how slow they are you should be able to fight them one at a time, or simply avoid them and head for the only exit you can see – another stone door at the far end of the circular room you are in.
