Rot Goes back to 1971

"La jolie fille veut l'amour."

"Huh." Rot jerked himself to consciousness. Opening his eyes, he saw a twin bed and an attractive woman stuffing laundry into a washing machine. Next to her, a record player spouted the next nonsense sentence in French... one of his worst subjects at school.

School? Rot hadn't thought about school in decades.

"Time to get up, Rot." The woman's voice sounded strangely familiar. Come to think of it, the room was familiar as well. It looked exactly like the room he'd lived in as a teen down to the laundry area behind a curtain and the cheap linoleum floors.

He took a closer look at the woman. He'd never thought of his mother as hot. Then again, he'd never looked at anyone with the hormones of a teen but the more open mind of an adult. And yeah, mom looked good enough to star in one of those MILF websites he spent most evenings clicking through.
