Room 13

As his daughter moves away, her father is ashamed. He comforted himself by saying that he had ****, but it’s not excuse for his gesture. He had hard work to protect her till today. He sighs, turns away and leaves.

Katie goes along the corridors, crossing several girls who look so happy at their weddings. This gives him some hope, as she wonders. Why her husband did not rejoind? She eventually passed office 008 and K9, where the girls were adopted as company animals. A girl with cat ears rubs against her leg in passing by emitting a sort of purr that makes Katie shudder.

Finally she arrives in front of the office 13. There is not even a classification on the door. It’s a dark room, without a window, cluttering with paperwork. Inside it distinguishes two individuals. The first is an old local official, with a stained t-shirt and drooping glasses on his nose. He is seated at a worn office. Alongside is a man in a long black trench coat and a cap, pretending to read a book.

The official stared at Katie and then glanced at a family booklet, before informing the other man that his wife had arrived. On the desk there is the official property document signed by his father and his new husband. Then she notices two thin legs protruding from under the desk. Her husband turns around. He has hair and a shaggy beard. He wears a pair of round sunglasses. Katie tried to reassure herself by guessing a suit jacket her trench-coat. He grunts.

"Well, let's go, bitch!"

He walked with a quick step, followed by an incredulous Katie. She ends up trying to establish contact. After all she's going to spend the rest of her life with this man.

"Where are we going ?"

He turns. They are back in the waiting room. He gives her a violent slap that propels her to the ground and then resumes her route. Katie gets up, trembling, feeling the look on her. She runs to catch up with her husband and follows him in silence, her head low, confused and incredulous. Once out of the town hall, her husband stops at an angle, catches his chin and looks at his cheek marked by the blow. She does not move, not even daring to try her tears.

"-Now you are under my responsibility. We have time for you to learn what this means. But let's put some things straight to avoid this kind of unpleasant punishment. You only speak if I authorize you, and to answer yes or no. In public adopts a gentleman and in private a Master. Understood ?

-Yes, Sir !
