Robert is waiting

When you arrive at your classroom you see Robert standing outside the locked door.

"Good morning, Mrs. Shaw." You are surprised at how nice Robert is being. To be honest, you barely even expected him to actually show up.

"Good morning. I'm glad you came, Robert."

"Yeah, the stuff you said about my future really hit me last night. I didn't really have a plan for after high school and the thought worried me. I'm 18 years old, I should have some idea about what I want to do."

"I'm happy that I got through to you. I knew all you need was a little motivation and a dose of reality."

"And you were the only one who cared enough to help me. Thank you, Mrs. Shaw."

"I want all my students to be successful, if I see anyone struggling, I'm not just going to sit by and ignore it." With that you unlock the door and lead Robert inside. You take a seat at your desk, and tell Robert to pull up a chair next to you.

You have a pleasant conversation with Robert. You see a side of him that you never knew existed. You talk with him about his interests and find several career choices that he would find interesting. The morning announcement comes on signaling classes were about to start. You are disappointed that your talk had to end so soon. You tell Robert that you will see him later in class.

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Shaw. You are so kind." You notice Robert's eyes quickly roam up and down your body. Is he checking you out? "Your husband is a lucky man."

After this, Robert leaves the room. You know you should be uncomfortable that a student just checked you out and flirted with you, but instead it turns you on. The most popular guy in school finds you attractive, you feel like a teenager all over again. You hope the rest of the day goes by quickly because you want to break out your old high school cheerleader uniform and do a little role-playing with James tonight.
