Riley wakes up in another world

When I woke up in a hospital room, the sounds of beeping machines all around me, I froze and immediately took stock. I remembered the blast, knew what had happened. I didn't find anything different about my body, so that was one concern off my list. I froze as a nurse walked in.

"Hello, Mr. Smith..." she said, carefully. "How are you feeling?"

"Okay so far," I admitted. "My... body doesn't seem to have changed."

"Well, that's certainly a positive. Let's run some tests to make sure, and we can hopefully figure out what has changed for you, hmm?"

I nodded. It was a slim possibility that I would be unchanged, but it had to be possible, right? Maybe I switched with an exact duplicate of myself? Of course, the question was... could I be that lucky?
