Riku

You open the door to see Riku standing out in the middle of the smaller island, looking straight up into the storm.

"Where’s Kairi? I thought she was with you!"

"The door has opened..."

"What?"

That sounds just like what that man in the cloak said earlier. 'I've come to see the door to this world.' Did he talk to Riku too?

"The door has opened, Sora! Now we can go to the outside world!"

'This world has been connected...'

"What are you talking about? We’ve gotta find Kairi!"

"Kairi’s coming with us!"

"Once we step through, we might not be able to come back. We may never see our parents again. There’s no turning back. But this may be our only chance. We can’t let fear stop us! I’m not afraid of the darkness!"

'...tied to the darkness...'

"Riku..."

'...soon to be completely eclipsed...'

Suddenly, a pool of darkness forms at Riku's feet and begins wrapping around him. He holds his hand out to you.

'...You understand so little..'

You try to reach it and pull him out of there but you find the same darkness wrapped around your feet.

'..One who knows nothing, can understand nothing...'

The darkness gets stronger and stronger until you see nothing but black. Then a bright light shines through, small at first but soon all encompassing. You find yourself out of the darkness, and feel something metallic in your hand.

Even though its silver blade is completely dull, it still feels like a powerful weapon. At the tip of the blade are teeth, like a key would have. Around its obsidian black handle is a golden hand guard, with a keychain attached.

As you examine it closer, a name jumps out to you.

"Keyblade.......Keyblade....."

Just then, a swarm of those creatures materializes out of the ground. Your first instinct is to run like earlier, but then you remember the Keyblade in your hand and have the feeling that its strong enough to fight them.
