Rescue

You were surprised yourself as you stood just at the entrance to this temple watching these two characters.

The human man was wearing a sort of hunters garb with leather armor. He had a sword inside a hilt on his back and a cleaver in his hand.

The lizard looking woman in a sack however was lying on her back with a face of fear silently begging for help. You were curious about learning about the other races of this world but decided to hold off since the hunter was looking at you with frustration.

“What are you staring at mage? Get lost before I get pissed.”

You merely scowl and cross your arms before you talk back.

“It’s not mage it’s Doctor actually. Plus, I can tell you’re about to kill this… young lady so I think you should leave.”

The hunter blinked at your tone while the Kobold was surprised at you actually defending her.

“Doc..ta? What the hell are you spewing!!? This is my catch and I’m getting antsy to get started so if you don’t get lost.”

He smirked with a sadistic grin as he raised his cleaver at you.

“I’ll kill you and leave your corpse to the wolves.”

You merely just looked at him before stepping forward to show you weren’t scared.

“Am I supposed to be intimated? Like I said, get lost!”

That was enough to piss him off so without warning he raised his cleaver to attack you.

The Kobold just shut her eyes not wanting to see blood spill…

Except she instead heard a sound like fighting?

She opened her eyes and saw something amazing.

Just as the hunter was going to hurt you, you blocked his elbow with you own and quickly grab his arm and twisted it enough to break it.

The guy dropped his cleaver and clutched his broken arm.

Before he could even think to use his good arm to grab his sword, you quickly turn him around and kick the back of his knees and knock him forward down the steps leading towards the forested area.

He landed hard on his good arm too.

He could barely stand up as he watched you in a mix of anger, fear and pain.

He could barely stand up and before trying to run away, he yelled at you with venom in his tone.

“You’ll pay for that mage!!! I don’t know how you got the best of me but when I get back to my camp me and my boys will come back for you, the lizard and her entire village just because we can. Remember that the next time you face Rick Barns.”

You just watch the guy as he tried to run away before you turn to the Kobold on the ground.

She looked awestruck at you before realizing you were alone with her.

She was scared that you would hurt her for her tail and skin like most hunters want from her species.

Instead though, you kneel down to check her body for any injuries.

Trying to touch her only made her more scared until you reassured her.

“Look, I know you have no reason to trust me but I promise I really do want to help, like I said before I am a Doctor.”

She did looked slightly confused as he did call himself that before.

“Umm, what is a… Doctor?”

You thought how you could explain it before deciding something reasonably simple could suffice.

“Think of it as another name for a healer or possibly a scholar without magic using man made ideas for the well being of others.”

She blinked at that thinking it was rather specific but decided not to question him.

He did ask her something important though.

“Now as I said, I know you have no reason to trust me but I really do want to help. Could you tell me what is causing your paralysis and how you feel pain wise?”

She was silent for a second before he asked her one more question.

“Could you at least tell me your name first?”

She blinked at him being polite and actually asking something so normal almost like he saw her as another person…

She looked away as she finally decided to answer his questions.

“My name is Kobella of Lobell Village. That hunter from earlier chased me in the middle of the forest as I was trying to find berries for my mother and then tried to skin me with his sword.”

“I’m bleeding from my right arm and chest plus he shot me with some kind of dart so I can’t move but I can still feel the pain.”

After listening to her explanation, you find the area the dart struck her, on the side of her neck. You carefully pull the dart away and noticed something oozing out of her swollen wound.

You tell Kobella that you can help her but she needed to trust you within reason.

The fact you asked her was enough shock to last a week but decided to let you do whatever and gave you permission.

You put your lips to the wound trying not to bite her as you try to suck out the venom.

Kobella of course was surprised as what she feels was rather intimate as she couldn’t help but find the feeling relieving.

You manage to suck most of the venom out and spit it out before carefully pinching the wound and shooting more venom out.

The continued feeling from your mouth and the slight pinching was turning into a sort of pleasurable feeling as she couldn’t help but get turned on from the oddly erotic stimulation since her neck was usually sensitive.

She was starting to regain feeling again thankfully.

Unfortunately though, she was getting a boner because of you.

Just as you managed to get rid of the remaining venom, you noticed she was blushing hard and looking at you with an embarrassed face.

“Kobella, are you alright? Your face is warm, are you running a fever?”

You check her forehead before noticing she was starting to moan at your soft touch.

You quickly noticed a slight bulge coming from the crotch area barely covered by the sack.

You just looked at her as she starts crying in embarrassment. You rub her head and try to calm her down before checking her wounds.

Luckily, they weren’t severe as she only lost a little blood but pretty soon they could get infected so they needed to be cleaned and covered as soon as possible.

(Later on, 12:37 Pm)

You managed to find some rather useful looking white sheets inside the temple that could be used to cover the wound not to mention the water form the chamber could at least wash out any dirt.

It wasn’t a perfect strategy but it should help some.

Kobella meanwhile just sat down and watched you as you finish patching her up.

When you were done, you took a moment to breathe in relief before she asked you something.

“Excuse me, Mr… Doctor? Why did you help me? I’m a Kobold, my species are considered lesser then even the most unassuming. Why did you risk your life for me?”

You stare at her as she finished talking and answer back.

“I did it because I have a duty to those who need help. I don’t care about the racial judgements laid down by those that judge based on assumptions. You needed help and I felt you were an unfortunate victim in this circumstance.”

“It was the right thing to do… and you don’t have to call me mister. Doctor as a title of course is the exception but my name is actually Steven. Dr. Steven Stranger to be exact.”

She was stunned silent yet again before fidgeting at your kindness.

She held her bandaged arm for a second before turning to you wanting to ask for your help some more but couldn’t say it out of worry.

You did notice but decided not to ask since you had a question yourself.

“Anyway, I think we get out of this area for the time being before that jackass comes back. If it’s not to much trouble, could you lead me to your village for the time being?”

Kobella quickly shook her head and said point blank she wouldn’t risk showing her home to a stranger (HA) even if he helped her.

You sighed but reluctantly agreed not to **** the matter on her. You at least offered to lead her to safety a ways so she could at least get home safer.

She at least agreed to that since she didn’t want to go home alone in her condition.

After trekking through the wooded area; Kobella knew just from a distance that her village was coming close.

She stopped you and thanked you for helping her before walking away.

You shrugged at the brisk farewell before walking the opposite direction.

Kobella as she was walking however couldn’t help but think back to why she left the village in the first place.

Her sick mother, her willingness to find supplies for her dying village… wanting to face her fears of the outside world.

She felt depressed as her short journey was going to end up in vain.

Before she could step further, she stopped and couldn’t help but tear up due to her cowardice.

Then she slowly turned towards the opposite direction you were going.

“Please come back… I… need your help. Please… doctor…”
