Your first responsibilities will include setting up diplomatic relations an organising official first contact with the rest of your planet. However, you are permitted to delay this responsibility to enjoy an adjustment period. Once first contact is established your position as ambassador will be opened up to your planet's prefered method of ruler selection. Be warned, although taking longer to establish first contact will give you advantages in retaining your position due to your extensive knowledge and history with the council it may also lead to resentment from your people for keeping this secret for so long or having all the fun alone. Your loved ones and government have been informed by a message pretending to be you that you have been given a job in a secluded part of your planet. They will revive vague updates and the government will receive tax for your work in order to keep you considered alive on your planet until first contact is established and the lie revealed. You will be paid minus tax and fees in the galactic currency that you can use in the galactic market or covert to use on your own planet.

To supplement your role there are a number of other important roles you have been selected for that will continue whether you lose your council position or not. These choices will also cover your basic needs such as housing and food." The voice continues.
