She wanted to throw her phone in anger, knowing that she just signed herself up for something that will not end well. She promised herself after getting together with Thomas, that she would never let a situation like this ever happen, one where that she would allow James back into her life and attempt to change or ruin things with Thomas.

And while things were often toxic and bad with James, he also opened her eyes sexually and had instilled the confidence in her to make her not afraid of her sexuality. Thomas often complimented her sexually on how talented she was, more specifically in knowing what she wants and how to get it. Something that could be accredited to James.

Just as she finished reading, her phone shook again. "Also, congrats on the wedding." That fucking asshole! She started to type a message furiously in response to him, before a loud, booming voice from behind he startled her. "Can't sleep?"

She turned around to see Thomas, half awake, rubbing his eyes. With a quick close of the conversation, she got off the couch and wrapped her arms around him. "Not without you. Can we go back for a little bit?" She asks, putting her head on his chest. He leads her back to bed, where they both cuddle quickly and fall asleep.
