Reconcile with the enemy

Warrior faces her corner with her head down. Despite the match being over her body is visibly tense, her knuckles white on the ropes. You don't know how well she accepts defeat, so you keep your distance for now.

"You hit really hard you know" you say, genuinely.

"Not hard enough, apparently." She doesn't turn around.

"And you're hard to compliment."

No answer.

Maybe a peace offering.

Some ring hand has gathered up the bod sleagh. You ask for it & place it in the corner next to your foe, who turns her head to it.

"That might be the scariest thing I've ever seen. Pucker factor 10."

She chuckles "that's the idea."

When Warrior takes it up she turn to you, more relaxed than before.

"Takes a real man to overcome this don' it?"

"Takes a real woman to wield it."

She smiles, a real smile, reconciliation achieved. Her free hand raises yours in victory, while her spear points to your chest. You point to her chest as well. Your foe exits & leaves you to your moment.
