Before you leave, you turn to Melody, who still looks dejected, and offer her your hand. “That was a good match. I’m not the only one here who’s going places.”
She shoots you a surprised glance, but takes your hand and shakes it firmly.
The crowd cheers even louder at your display of good sportsmanship, and Melody smiles at you and waves as you leave the ring.
