Reclaiming Lost "Possessions" Part 2

Leaving their safe house the demonic/vampiric hordes move once more to the Castle a greenish fog fills the air blocking the moon as the Vampires slept in the safety of their coffin, their artificial slaves under the disguise as a human caravan placed runes on the roads and once the night came they would release a mystic fog that would dull the sense of the humans as well make those who man the parapets sleepy, this would give them an edge in the coming battle for the humans lack the night vision that he and his kin have the battle would be fierce but he didn't mind he couldn't wait he hungered for the blood of the humans besides he still had an ace in his sleeve Ligor thought.

In a tavern called The Happy Cow Man, the 15 individuals that made up the caravan woke from their "slumber" their eyes were red getting their weapons and gear their goal was simple to open the gate, after killing the taverns inhabitants they soon exited the tavern and made a fast sprint to the door killing any watchmen in the way.

Giving the order the army of hell charges in the soldiers defending the parapets have not alerted tot he invading army many of them were exhausted after a long day of training, many were happy to be relieved in the next rotation so they could get some sleep and be out of this cold foggy night. the first units to reach the walls were the Hellspawn they were small 4'3 ft tall pack hunting creatures numbering around 400, using their claws they climbed up the walls of the hearing the strange scratching noise some of the curious Soldiers looked over the walls and were horrified to see hundreds of red eyes staring at them, many tried to warn the others of the invaders but it was too late the hellspawn jumped grabbing the soldiers on the walls and throwing them over many fell to their deaths.

The nights shined ad the Vampiric Mages and Demons began casting devastating spells blowing huge chunks of the wall off thousand of vampiric warriors and demons supported by their artificial constructs charged in, the defenders tried as they might try to fend off the attackers but it was too late the walls were overwhelmed. In the middle of the castle, the alarm bell rung waking the sleeping civilians warning them of an attack hundreds of men, women, and children were rushed into the bunkers in the interior of the castle.

At the gates to the castle, the 15 homunculi managed to **** their way into the door room where they began to open the gate allowing hundreds of their Masters in, the defenders were pushed back as a wave of demons, vampires, and other homunculi swarmed in the streets were soon covered in blood and bodies, The Mages of the Hellfire Legion entered the fray using their magic they sent out demonic spirit possessing the enemy soldiers and fleeing civilians the castle was thrown into chaos as fires began to burn throughout the castle.

"We're being overwhelmed by the demons Ma'am what are your orders..." Yelled Lance a Night Watchman he looked at Champion Alycia the Shepherd the King's right hand woman.

"Lance take half the Night Watchman and get the civilians to the shelters while the other half follow me we're going to be a buffer against the enemy, once you get the civilians to safety return to the battle and help kill some demon scum with us!" She yelled her voice bolstered the men and women by her side leading half the night watchmen into battle they came across possessed humans and their Mage Masters...
