Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy

"Another mission, another excuse for Robin and Starfire to run off!" Beast Boy complained, patrolling the rooftops with his teammates. "Like seriously, it happens every time!"

"Why don't we just focus on the mission," Raven shot back, tired of his complaining.

"Oh come on Raven, you must have noticed the pattern!" Cyborg retorted, glancing up from his scanner. "When was the last time the three of us haven't been grouped up."

"What's so bad with being in my group?" Beast Boy joked, faking a sad face.

"I just think you guys should mind your business," Raven replied, her violet eyes shooting daggers at her teammates. It was always the same. Every mission Robin and Starfire would split off and every mission she would have to listen to those idiots bitch about it! Besides, she had her own reasons to be upset about Robin and Starfire's relationship...

"Look, I only have one real question at this point." Cyborg looked around to make sure they were alone. "Do you think they're fucking yet?"

"No way!" Beast Boy laughed, briefly turning into a hyena to heighten the effect. "I don't even think Starfire knows what sex is!"

"I wouldn't put it past 'em!" Cyborg responded, checking his scanner again. "Robin's smooth, man, I bet he works fast."

"Works fast my ass! It took him like forever to even ask Star out!" Shaking his head, Beast Boy walked to the edge of the roof. "I'm tired of waiting for your stupid gadgets! I'm gonna see what I can find." Turning into a crow, the impatient hero took off into the night sky.

"Still don't understand why he can't wait for technology to do its thing," Cyborg groaned. "What do you wanna do while we wait for birdbrain?" Raven didn't respond, simply turning her back on him and looking out on the skyline. Cyborg's mood softened, his jovial tone becoming more worried. "Is something wrong Rae?"

Raven's hands balled up in anger, her father's telltale red eyes briefly gracing her face. However, before she lashed out she took a deep breath and relaxed. Out of everyone on the team, Cyborg was the only one Raven really felt she could open up to the most. "It's just... I don't like it when you talk about our friends like that."

"We didn't mean it like that," Cyborg reassured his friend, taking a few steps towards her. "We were just giving them shit, that's all. Beast Boy and I couldn't be happier for Robin and Star, and we still love the hell outta them. I promise it was just jokes."

Raven still did not turn around, simply replying "Thanks, that means a lot."

Cyborg raised an eyebrow, taking another step towards his fellow Titan. "There's something else, isn't there?" Raven once again did not answer, still staring off into the distance. "I've noticed you've been on edge recently. What's going on? Trust me, Raven, I just wanna help. I won't tell a soul."

The goth Titan bit her lip, unsure if she really wanted to open up about this. However, for better or worse, she would not have to decide. Beast Boy chose this moment to return, transforming mid-air and landing back on the roof rather gracefully.

"And that's why we don't wait for your dumb scanner to finish!" He cheered, pumping his fist in the air. "I was flying around and I swear I saw one of Slade's robots!"

"Should we send word to the others?" Raven asked, beginning to levitate.

"Nah, let's check it out ourselves first," Cyborg replied, putting his scanner away. "We should make sure this isn't another 'Mad Hatter' situation. Lead the way!"

"Bro, how was I supposed to know David Blaine was in Jump City!" Beast Boy complained, turning back into a bird and heading off into the night, his fellow titans close behind.
