Rajni tries to back away

While she had already met Jessica's intense gaze, Rajni hoped she could just sidestep her and go on her way. But Jessica took a sideways step herself to remain an obstacle. So she turned and faced the packed dance floor and found no escape. "I saw your last forum post," Jess said, "What was it you called me?"

Rajni looked to either side, trying to find a way out of this situation. She loved making fun of Jess, but now, Jess was towering over her, and she didn't like this feeling. Maybe some of her friends could bail her out? But she saw nobody coming to her aid.

"I said, what was it you called me?" When Rajni didn't respond, Jess leaned in toward her. Rajni tried backing up, but a bump from a moving dancer on the other side pushed her even closer to the tall woman's face. "Um, cyber....cow?" Rajni said. "I believe it was 'fat-assed cybercow,' you stupid bitch." Jess responded, clearly hurt by the words, and enraged by the smile the flicked across Rajni's eyes as she said the phrase.

"So, I'm, uh, sorry," Rajni said, insincerely. "Are you going to, um, make a scene about it? If you touch me, you'll get thrown out. I have powerful friends. And, then, I might just come up with a worse name."

Jess's eyes moved side to side momentarily as she considered Rajni's point. "I'm going to make a scene out of YOU!" she said, eventually.

Grabbing the shorter woman by the top of her dress, she pulled. Rajni managed to land her hands on Jess's, and make it so her dress didn't rip, but when Jess's other hand grabbed one of her pigtails, it was clear that might not have been her plan.
