Rage Against the Heavens

Kevin and Jennifer braced themselves, but were surprised when nothing seemed to happen.

"That's odd," Jennifer said.

"I guess Jason got bored of answering our prayers," Kevin shrugged. "Probably moved on to another family. Come on, let's go get Kimmi."

Jennifer put her top on, and headed back the girls' bedroom. The TV was playing one of Jason's music videos, and the girls were naked on the bed, kissing and cuddling each-other. Jennifer let out a cough to get their attention.

"Oh hi mommy!" Candi said enthusiastically. "We were just partying, like Jason told us to!"

"Um, okay, but Kimmi needs to go home now," Jennifer told the girls.

"No!" The all shouted. Annie grabbed hold of Kimmi tightly.

"She's not going!" Annie protested.

"Look girls, Kimmi's parents want her to go home. We're not going to-" Kevin began, before suddenly stopping, and turning to his wife. "Honey, did you just get a feeling that was HAVE to watch the news?"

"Yeah, I did," Jennifer replied. She grabbed the remote, and changed the channel to the news, to much protesting from the girls.

"This just in," said insanely attractive news girl. "A local house has spontaneously exploded. The cause is unknown, though it is thought to be linked to pop star Jason Henderson." The screen turned to a shot of a flaming pile of rubble.

"That's my house!" Kimmi shouted. "That means my parents are..."

"I'm sorry Kimmi," Jennifer said, giving her a hug to cheer her up.

"It's okay!" Kimmi said with a smile. "Jason did, so it's good! That means I can stay here forever!"

Kevin and Jennifer looked at each-other in shock.

"But Kimmi, he just murdered your parents!" Kevin shouted.

"Yeah, but they weren't his fans," Kimmi told them. "That's what they get for not worshipping him! Thank you Lord Jason!"

Jennifer and Kevin returned to their bedroom, and sat on the bed, appalled.

"I can't believe we did that," Jennifer said, almost crying. "We're monsters."

"No honey," Kevin said, hugging his wife. "We're not monsters, that bastard Jason Henderson is. He killed Kimmi's parents, and then made her love him for it."

"Kevin, watch what you say," Jennifer said, worried. "He's probably listening. You've read the bible. You know what God does when he's mad. Well, we just saw what he does."

"We're really seeing his true nature now," Kevin said, his voice getting angrier. "He's just like the God in the bible. Worship him and get rewards, but do anything he dislikes, and he punishes you. I mean, those reporters didn't get a choice. He just made them his sex slaves."

"Honey, please calm down, before he punishes you," Jennifer said, stroking his back, trying to calm him down.

"He doesn't scare me!" Kevin declared, standing up, and shouting angrily into the sky. "Hey you! Jason! You listen to me! Didn't your parents ever teach you some manners!? Show some respect for your elders! You can't just blow up people's houses and expect them to sit around approving of it! You're even worse than that Bieber kid!"
