Quietly climb out of the Vent.

After what seems like forever the dark haired man in the suit gets up from the chair and makes his way to the bathroom. A split second after he closes the door you slowly and quietly open the vent cover and begin to climb out. Without a sound you step down on to the floor with the stacks of cash in hand. Then you reach back in and remove the duffel bag which contains the gun, bullets and prison uniform you found in the room. Knowing you only have a short time before the man comes out of the bathroom you decide not to bother with anything else in the room. On your way out you pass the desk, quickly taking the man's pack of cigarettes. The door makes very little noise as you pull it open and glance around outside. The coast is clear so you begin to exit the room when the man in the black suit opens the bathroom door. You glance back and catch a smile on his face, almost as if he had know this was going to happen. The thought crosses your mind that maybe he went in the bathroom to draw you out of the vent.

Without any further hesitation you rush out the door and slam it shut behind you. Then you run at full speed through the motel's square courtyard. In the middle of the courtyard is a floor bed, which you leap with ease. You're not sure exactly where to go but as you reach the end of the building you spin around and look back, the edge of the pavement crumbles under your feet. The man is now chasing you and quickly closing the distance.

"Come back!" he shouts.

You think it is best if you make a break for it, instead of sticking around. Something in your gut tells you that you don't want to meet this man in the black suit. As you run you notice an old bank on the corner a couple blocks ahead of you with a flashing sign. It informs you that it is 60 degrees F, then it flashes the time which is 8:50pm. You make a mental note because you know somewhere in your mysterious past you have seen that bank. As you **** away a flashback you take a quick look back. The man is gaining even with you running your fastest. The wall you're running along ends about 20 feet in front of you, before another building begins. You take a quick right and turn into the gap. It's an ally between the two buildings. The pathway is littered with trash forcing you to hurdle a pile of black garbage bags. You manage to make it to the other side but your pursuer doesn't. He gets one of his feet caught up in a bag as he is in the air attempting his jump. You hear a loud crash as he falls hard into the pile of trash.

Without looking back you keep running until you are face to face with a tall chain link fence blocking the way. You estimate the fence to be 14 feet tall as you begin to climb it. Amazingly you are pretty skilled at scaling the obstacle and are at the top of it in no time. The guy in the suit leaps onto the fence and grabs your foot. Wildly you try shaking him off but he is unrelenting in his attempt to bring you down. Your big hooker-style boot slips off and you're free to climb over the top of the fence. When you drop down to the ground a sharp piece of broken glass cuts into your now naked foot and sends you to your knees. The loss of time gives the man a chance to get to the top of the fence. You're running again, much slower now with your foot bleeding and the wound stinging. Behind you the suited man has jumped down and is getting too close. You feel his large hand as it grabs the back of your pvc top. You spin, trying to escape, but it only causes your shirt to rip at the seam and be pulled off. You are able to take a few more steps before the man pushes you hard. His efforts send you off balance and you bash into a big, black, metal fire escape that knocks you to the ground.

You roll onto your back and standing over you panting is the man. He is staring down at you and your naked upper half.
