Questions and wishes

"How many wishes do I get?" I asked.
"Three," said the Genie.
"How cliche," I replied.
The Genie shrugged and stared blankly at me with a look of boredom.
I had seen and read plenty of stories of wishes gone awry, so I thought very carefully.
Finally, I had it. "For my first wish, I wish my next two wishes go exactly as I want them to!"
The Genie perked up, "That's the smartest wish I've ever heard! Done!"
"Good," I said feeling rather pleased with myself. Now I had to decided on my next wish: riches, women, fame, intelligence, power. I decided on power. "I wish people had to do whatever I told them to do."
"Done!"
