Nermeria read the lines of text with confusion, horrified as she realized what it meant, or the two things it meant. Now she was considered offline....well, Nermeria, her player character was offline. She was still in the game! Which meant a, oddly long play time, which might have alerted the devs, was now out of the window. And she was probably not going to access her bank account.

"Dear, did you mean Rose Richardson? Here, put your finger on our little gem thingy!" The teller said, sliding her a gem; Nermeria knew its purpose, it was basically a fingerprint scanner in the medieval era.

"See, Rose Richardson! You have your work papers and everything, but no bank account; I can help you set that up Miss Richardson." The teller said, giving her a faux robotic smile.

Nermeria sighed. As expected. God damnit. She'd forgotten about the work papers. Nodding to the woman, she let her open up a bank account for her, and deposited the measly few coppers she had earned in the past few days. Keeping them had been a struggle anyway, especially without an inventory to host them. Instead, she had to revert to a stupid little pocket book!

She rubbed her temples as a pop-up on her GUI appeared when she walked out of the bank.

Nermeria didn't even try to fight it, merely getting dressed in the teller's uniform and rushing as best she might in the heels to the bank. Making it well past start time, Nermeria gave herself one chuckle: the system had messed up, she still had the free will to show up late! A childish way to get back at it, perhaps, but it worked.

That gleeful resistance faded when her boss, again, pulled her into his office and went about his usual rant of timeliness and the like. Nermeria, busy in thinking of her next move (going to the library), mostly ignored his words until he stood her up and got her in the familiar pose, leaning over the desk. It didn't set in until she felt the first slap against her ass, and by the end, she was sobbing tears of pain. It'd hurt at 10 swats. 15 had been painful. 25 had been horrid. 35 was beyond horrid. The 40th swat was hell, and Nermeria was beyond grateful to escape his office, promising to return at lunch.

After her 5th messup at the counter, they sent her to rearrange files by herself, which let her check on her GUI.

Nermeria felt like punching each circuit that made up the system. Who the fuck was Ms. Gailem, and why was the quest written in such a....grody fashion. Whatever, time was being wasted looking at these useless updates. Nermeria peaked over her shoulder, and headed to the place that had helped start all this trouble: the vault.

She didn't get far into the restricted area before a slight zap hit her nipples. Shocking her, she remembered the piercings. Grinding her teeth, she walked forward, trying her best to ignore the shocks. Focus. See if any spells, scrolls or the like were in the vault. Grab a thing of gold to get money. Do something other then think about the shocks hitting your nipples.

It worked, somewhat. Nermeria got to a door inside the vault, having slid a gold bar uncomfortably into her bra (how it fit, or why she did it, she knew not), and peaked inside. Loot! Her hand reached out, and she nearly grabbed it....

Until the anal plug, already sore and annoying, shocked her at the same time as the nipple piercing's. Shaking, another hit made her fall right on her sore ass, which made her yip in pain and scramble out of the room. Great. Fucking great.

Nermeria considered her options. Already she'd spent time and dealt with **** pain to get the gold. The bank wasn't letting her work the next two days (their weekend crew existed for a reason). If she didn't do something now, she'd possibly be screwed out of a chance of freedom. ****, she reentered another room, shutting her eyes from the pain. Think freedom.

Grasping with watery eyes and shaky hands, Nermeria grabbed onto a book which she hoped to take. A harsh shock made her drop it, and she kicked it from the room, it immediately copying itself and letting the copy stay outside the room. Nemeria examined a pair of earrings, and felt dread when a mass amount of confetti appeared around her. Oh, _no. _The earrings disappeared into thin air, and Nermeria felt ding after ding on her GUI, dreading to look at it.
