Start with the house.

I walked slowly around changing my house into something more fitting my station. I began by increasing my laboratory from the pokey basement to huge underground complex with enough rooms to allow me to experiment and invent to my hearts content in every area of science possible. It was while doing this that I noticed one weakness of my omnipotence device. I could change the area and environment of my lab and any create any equipment I could imagine. However I was unable to create living matter, such as assistants or subjects (although I did create a satisfactory robot assistant), only able to alter existing living subjects into similar ones such as a white mouse into a gray mouse or a small rat (also had trouble adding mass to living matter). I did manage, however to increase and decrease the age of my subjects.

I pondered how I would staff my new lab and my mansion and where I would find living human subjects as I ascended the stairs and began to create said mansion from the house above. Just as I was transforming my furniture into more suitable, expensive, antiques the doorbell rang. Taking my Omnipotence Device I went over and answered it.
