Tara looked down at her fingers. "They're claws."

It's so much to take in, Tara thought to herself, but it feels so...good.

Tara grinned. "I feel amazing. How many other vampires are there?"

"Me, Kate, Tess, Freya, and now you. By the end of the night? Who knows, anyone we want. You could turn Jack if you want."

"Jack? He's history. I only want you. He's only good enough for a snack."

"What kind of snack, might I ask?"

"The 'trapped blood bag' kind of snack, but I do know who we should turn."

"Jamie. Don't tell me she wouldn't make the ultimate vampire temptress. Imagine her as a vampire, hunting with her at the hot nightclubs like Shadows, feeding with her, & then fucking afterwards. She'd be awesome, not as awesome as me, but still awesome. I know you two were friends with benefits for a few months. Don't tell me the thought of her as a vampire has never entered your mind."

Of course Vampire Jamie crossed my mind, Nicholas thought to himself, it crossed my mind every single time we had sex.

"And, if we turn Jamie, we both can be your vampire mistresses."

Nicholas raised his eyebrow. "You don't want to be my bride?"

Tara shook her head. "No. Being your bride is boring, it's like being married. Being your mistress, however, is so much more fun. I think I'll enjoy my vampiric existence more as your mistress than your wife. That, & as your first fantasy vampire mistress, I deserve to be your first vampire mistress for real."
