It's Vivian

(Viv) :> WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO SANDRA? - The text from Vivian is in all caps and you feel a sense of unexplainable dread. Vivian has been your friend for so long now that you can just picture her glaring into her phone.

(me) :> Is she OK? - As replies go it was as guarded as I could make it without pissing off Viv even more.

(Viv) :> No, asshole! If she were OK, I'd be laughing with my roomie on the couch, not staring at her closed door. - It could be worse, sounds like Sandra hasn't told her about the strip search or Rea's purity test. Before you even start typing a response your phone bleeps again.

(Viv) :> I told you to go easy with her. It was her first time you jerk! - For just a moment you think that Vivian thinks you slept with Sandra, until you remember when Vivian first brought up the idea of inviting Sandra to join you. She had been hesitant to introduce her roommate to you and your friends because Sandra had never done any gaming before. 'Hey, Stephen, you'll get to pop another D&D virgin!' was how David put it and it earned him a smack from Vivian and a three-minute tirade about why you 'boys' had better straighten up if you wanted Sandra to feel comfortable. It took a while to type out your next text: usually when you have to write this much you just call the person, but you're pretty sure Viv knows you well enough to pick up clues from your voice.

(me) :> The run got pretty intense, but Sandra did great. She really played the Lawful Good Cleric perfectly. Can't tell you much more, but I can tell you that Rae does not meet up with the rest of the party after the heist. - Then, in what (you hope) is a clever way to distract her and keep her off your and Sandra's back you send a request.

(me) :> Can you get together with the others and let me know what you guys are planning to do so I'll be ready next time? - You find yourself holding your breath as you wait for Viv’s response.
