The game commences.

The game starts off well. You knock a solid in at the break, and two more solids before Rick Cologne even gets a turn!

"I should've upped my wager!" you say.

"It's not too late." says Rick.

You would, of course, if there was any real incentive in doing so. But, there isn't. So you shake your head. "Nah, this is fine."

About ten minutes later, it's a different story. You're losing, and Rick is about to sink his last ball next to the 8-ball. Pigface is laughing and you're starting to feel a bit of the humiliation that's coming to you. You can only just stand there with your pool stick and watch as Rick Cologne sinks the last stripe and now takes his aim at the eight ball. He calls the right pocket; it's a precarious shot and a miss could possibly land the ball into another hole...which would spell victory for you. You curl your hands close to your bosom and whisper to yourself, "please, please, please," hoping above all things that he'll miss.
