First Swap

John had ordered a cappuccino, and so wondered ehat would happen if he swapped Elizabeth with it.

He pressed the item button, and pointed the device at his drink. Then he pressed the person button and pointed it at Elizabeth. A bright flash that only John could see filled the cafe, and Elizabeth was sitting across from him, but his drink was still there.

"Are you okay?" John asked Elizabeth.

Elizabeth shrugged. "I don't know. Do you want me to be okay? I was made especially for you."

"Sir?" the waitress said. "Is your drink okay? You haven't touched it."

John was confused because he had ddank almost all of his cappuccino, then realized she meant Elizabeth.

"Oh, uh, it's fine," John said. "Perfect."

The waitress smiled and left. John then turned to Elizabeth.

"So, what exactly do you do?" he asked her.
