Ignore her.

You look down at the random girl and scoff. You’ve got things to do and places to be. You step to the side and move along on your way.

But you feel something tugging at you, holding you back as you try to move. You stop and look down. You see a small pair of hands wrapped around your left ankle. You turn around and see the schoolgirl sprawled out on the floor, flailing to hold your leg.

“Hey!”she yells. “What kind of an asshole are you? You could at least say you’re sorry!”

“You bumped into me as much as I bumped into you,” you retort. “Maybe you should watch where you’re going if you lose your balance that easily.”

She scowls at you. She leaps to her feet and lunges at you. You are startled by her unbridled aggression.l, but then you notice her staggered steps, and her eyes roll back. She holds her head in her hands, and begins to tip over. You’re pretty sure she is about to pass out.

You could help her, but you’re weary of putting your hands on this girl. She seems to be a bit unhinged, and you think she might claim that you were assaulting her.
