Tell Nyllia the whole story.

"All right. Stay sitting, because this is a strange tale. You might not believe all of it, and that's all right. Part of it is something I didn't even want to tell my party for awhile, since I thought they'd think I was crazy," you say.

She looks you over for a lengthy moment. "I trust your words, Mr. Warren. Please speak your mind."

You take a deep breath. "Well, it's all about the beginning actually. I'm not exactly from around here. This world I mean. You see, I was minding my own business one morning in my home on planet Earth, a world without any magic or elves or anything like that. Those sort of things existed in fiction books. Anyway, there was a light, and then a woman with white hair and a lab coat pulled me through some kind of portal. I woke up chained to a bed, and she was talking about something really bizarre."

Nyllia seems to be hanging on your every word.

"They did some kind of experiments on me, I think," you say. "I don't remember any of it."

"I am so sorry. I do not know what to say..."

"The woman said her experiment would work better with someone from another world. She suggested that it could be possible to create or altar someone's class to shape someone into anything."

"That sounds impossible."

"I have no idea. All I know is she said the goal was to create the most powerful demon king... That's why I can't even see my own class. It isn't real. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be, but I think their intention is clear. But maybe it failed. I don't feel like a demon king, whatever that would even mean. I'm sorry, Lady Tesgella. I feel like a templar shouldn't be helping someone who might be--"

"Oh Kyle," she says softly, though her expression doesn't tease. She's looking back with genuine concern. With her gloves still off from her previous eating, she leans forward and places a hand gently against your cheek. "There is no such thing as a demon king in that regard. Demon King is a title bestowed by either those who deem a being to be one, or by the being themselves. To me, you are Kyle Warren, and that is what you should be to yourself as well."

"Nyllia... That's really kind of you to say. Thank you. I was worried you'd hate me or something."

"Of course not." She begins to stand once again. "Now come. We can speak more as we walk."

You breath a sigh of relief. Then, you stand up and hoist her bag up towards her. "Sounds good."

She takes it from your hands. "Anymore secrets you would like to share as we go? There is still plenty of sun left."

There are definitely a lot of things I'd rather not talk to her about.

"Actually, you never talk about yourself, Nyllia."

"My first name. Interesting." She begins to walk.

"What? You literally just used mine," you say as you hurry up beside her. "And I used yours. It was like a minute before."

"So you would like to hear about me?" she asks.

I guess we're just moving right along. "Yeah. I mean, you have twelve levels worth of adventures. That means you've done even more than me. Yet the few times we've met up, you haven't said a word about yourself really."

"I do not care much to boast about my own accomplishments. I have travelled with many different companions over the years across the land. Most recently, you know of the twins Bill and Phil, and the oni Zazra. If you are curious why I do not travel with much higher level adventurers, it is rather simple. I wished to prove myself on my own merits. It is also not the strength alone that makes a party. But I digress. I could tell you the tale of how I slew a giant flaming skeleton, or an evil dragon, though I am no bard. I do not remember it all nor would I be able to tell it in a way that sounds interesting."

"I guess it would be hard to go into detail with the tales of my adventures too," you say. "So I get that. I don't even know how to tell you about the other world I'm from. When I think about explaining it, I take so much for granted. It's so different."

"You must have worked hard to adapt. That is admirable."

"What about you? Where are you from?" you ask.

She gazes up to the sky. "Perhaps I will speak more of it later, when we are resting. I wish to enjoy the peace of the sun while it is still present."

"I'm just happy you believed me."

"I cannot pretend to understand, nor have I fully wrapped my head around it." She turns to you with a smile. "However, this world is a strange place of stranger magic. Anything is possible. You being from another world certainly explains why I find you so fascinating."
