Focus on Kali

You decide that you don't need to intervene. Ariana doesn't know it's a sex date and she probably misunderstood his comments which is why she didn't react. Additionally, she knows Matt is a player, so she probably assumed his flirtation is his natural way of talking. That's true anyway, although you've never noticed him flirting with your wife but maybe he only does it when you're not around.

Anyway, you chose to trust in the plan. When Ariana finds out its a sex date, she'll be too embarrassed to go through with it. Even if Matt wants to flirt with your wife, the trick you're playing on him will allow you to get the last laugh. Doubly so if you manage to pull off a night with Kali. Feeling confident about your chances, you resolve to definitely figure out your date with her tomorrow.

Noticing the time, you realize Ariana never came downstairs after her shower. Creeping back upstairs, it surprises you to find that the lights in the bedroom are off and your wife is already tucked under the duvet. Moving as quietly as possible in the dark, you get ready for bed, and do your night routine in the bathroom while you wonder why your wife didn't even say good night to you. You don't think she is mad at you, but you have no idea what's going on.

You try to trust your best friend and your wife, while thinking only of your own date with Kali but, for now, you go to sleep very confused.
