She stops time for everyone!

Morticia smiled as Kate opened the door that lead onto the roof of the church spire; below and before her was Buckley, its people going about their lives. "It's quite a view, isn't it?" remarked Kate "Sometimes we get people coming up here to take photos or paint pictures of the landscape. I suppose that's why you asked to come up here, am I right?"

Morticia smiled as she stepped near the edge "You could say something like that.." and she raised her hands. Kate glanced at her watch as the bells below them began to chime Midday "Listen, if you're going to, you'd better make it quick, only I've a me-" but Kate got no further, for she froze, mouth open, finger pointing at her watch. Down below, the same effect spread to everyone and everything in Buckley; a couple out for a stroll froze, one foot in front of the other, a man washing his car froze as he chucked a bucket of water over his car, the water hanging in the air and a bird leapt off the war memorial before freezing mid flight, wings spread wide.

Morticia smiled at the frozen town below her; she hoped the ancestors of the current citizens of Buckley were looking down upon her, horrified at what she had done to their town and, more importantly, their own brood.
