Checking the place out

Checking the place out, it is beautiful. Modern lines, bright wide spacious rooms, skylights. The front door leads to an immediate cozy living room, further on is a big dining room and an open kitchen kitchen, and flowing up from the main area is a set of floating steps leading to a landing with a glass balcony.

"Wahoo!" Matt raised his arms in the air. He couldn't believe it! This was brilliant! All this just for him. Man, he had LIVED in places smaller than some of the rooms here.

He collapsed on the curved, soft couch and flipped on the widescreen TV. It had some fun programs, even a cool action movie... but it started getting to him that he could watch TV at home, he needed to take advantage of this place.

He raided the fridge, fully stocked with fresh food. He grabbed a yoghurt and banana, and messily ate them on the kitchen island. He then walked up the stairs, and after a few locked doors, found his (or rather Venessa's) bedroom. Score! There was a gift basket and letter wishing "her" a great vacation. He pulled the curtains back and could see a nice view. It might be extravagant for a beachside resort to have a swimming pool when there is a perfectly good sea, but that's just the sort of place this was! He'd have to find a way to swim there.

As he turned back to the room, he noticed the TV had turned on with a logo showing. "Hello Vanessa," it called out. Matt froze. "Welcome Diamond Sands resort, where your dreams are a reality." Matt smiled, prerecorded message obviously. "We do everything we can to make your vacation your most unforgettable experience. If there's anything we can do to make your day better, please let us know."

"Well, I'm doing pretty well, except missing my clothes?" Matt joked.

"You are missing your clothes?"

Matt's blood ran cold. "Wait, I thought this was a recording. Who are you?"

"My apologies. Rather then subject you to traditional inefficient customer service organisations, Diamond Ltd has produced a state of the art Artificial Intelligence to solve your problems before they happen. Capable of automatic mundane tasks, assist in food preparation & hygiene, and fine tuning every aspect of your vacation to make it the most pleasurable possible. If there's any thing you would like to make your vacation better, simply say it out loud. We want every day to be your best day ever."

"Ummm, I hope no one else is listening to this."

"Phew, okay well first up, my name isn't Venessa."

"You are not Venessa Hutchins? If you are not the registered occupant of this room, then we will need to ask you to make contact with..."

"No wait, I am Venessa! It's just that... people usually call me... Venessa." Matt ended lamely.

"Understood. Hello Vanessa. I am at your service to help you have an unforgettable vacation. Did you say you wished for a change of clothing?"
