Alexa makes her way outside

Alexa did her best to find a pair of pants that concealed her diaper, finding a pair of sweat pants and putting them on. She couldn’t believe she was being made to wear them. She also couldn’t believe her MOM had caught her. She didn’t know which was more embarrassing. She sighed and put on a bra and shirt and then headed out to meet her mom.

When she stepped outside she noticed her mom in the driver’s seat of her car with her head in her hands. Alexa frowned. Her lip quivered. She hated disappointing her mom. Her brother, Cole, was a star child. He was a scholar student and graduated early, got a job, and moved out before he hit Alexa’s age. Alexa always felt like her parents favored Cole and that made her embarrassed as she stood in there in diapers at age 22. It was like there was no progress.

Alexa sighed and closed the door, locking it behind her before she climbed in her mom’s car. “Mom,” Alexa said, her lip quivering. “Do you... still love me?”

Juliette looked up and into Alexa’s eyes. “Of course,” she said, she wrapped her arms around Alexa. “Honey, wetting the bed isn’t going to make me love you any less than I already do. I’m not... I’m not mad at you, sweetie. I’m mad at myself. I just feel like... I feel like I failed you as a mother. I’m sorry if you felt like I didn’t love you. I just... don’t know what to do.”

Juliette formed tears in her eyes as she held her daughter in her arms. Alexa felt herself tear up as well as she hugged her mom. “I don’t know what is wrong with me,” Alexa cried. “I’ve tried. I’ve tried, mom. I try so hard every night. And it’s all the same. I feel so embarrassed and ashamed. I don’t... know what to do either anymore.”

Juliette calmed herself down and said. “We’ll figure this out, sweetheart. If you just had told me you had this problem, I would’ve tried to help you. I still plan to help you, but it might not result in the way you’d like. I think taking precautions is better than risking further damage at this point. I want you to wear your diapers for today, and we’ll see if you can make it. If you need to go to the bathroom, please tell me. This isn’t a punishment. I just want to make sure that you don’t wet yourself while we’re out. I love you, Alexa. Nothing will EVER change that.”

“T-thank you, Mom,” Alexa said. “But please, let’s try to keep this between us. I’d die if Cole or Faith found out about this... or dad.”

“We’ll see,” Juliette said. “I might have to get your dad involved, but I’ll try to keep the circle closed. Now let’s head out.”
