Mom enters

Alexa’s mom rolled her eyes and grabbed a pin from the drawer. She was not going to just stand there and wait for her daughter to finish and take her sweet ass time. She figured she would at least talk to her. Before she entered the bathroom, she noticed that the washer was going. She thought it was curious that Alexa was doing laundry at this hour, but figured it wasn’t her concern, just odd.

She opened the door with the pin and entered the bathroom. Her jaw dropped. There Alexa was sitting in the tub with strawberry scented bubbles surrounding her and a yellow rubber duck in her hand. “Alexa, what are you doing?”

“M-mom?!” Alexa exclaimed. “I was just... I just felt like winding down today is all. I saw the bubbles and I figured I would use them.”

“I see, and why are you doing laundry at this hour?” Alexa’s mom asked.

“Oh I always do laundry at this hour,” Alexa said. “So that I can have fresh sheets at night.”

“You wash your sheets every night?” Her mom asked.

“Um, yeah,” Alexa said realizing how odd that must sound. “I just like having warm sheets.”

“I see,” Alexa’s mom said. “Well finish up and get dressed, I would like to spend some time with my daughter.”

Alexa’s mom then left the bathroom and wandered the house.
