Find your dorm.

After all of that, you're due for a rest. You and Eva find the building with all of the bedrooms. It seems that some students have their own, while others share with a couple others. Lady Sulta gave you permission to use a specific room she says was vacant, under the precedence that you won't be staying here for much longer. She is already breaking the rules a little for you, and only because you helped protect her homeland from spies. It shouldn't take much longer anyway.

You walk inside to find a room that's mostly bare. It has one bed in the corner, a table beside it, and an empty desk on the other side. There's also a small window. It's rather small as well. You tap the top of a lamp next to your bed, and thankfully you got it in one try. It turns on with a magical glow. You drop your pack to the ground and sigh as you lean back against the wall.

"So, have you found any leads at all yet?" you ask.

Eva shakes her head. "Not really. Though I haven't gotten the chance to read too many books. You weren't gone that long."

"Yeah I guess not. We lucked out with finding Lady Sulta to teleport us to the city."

"Oh. So that's what happened."

"She's from there, so she was happy that we were able to help. Watched us fight in a tournament too."

"Sounds exciting." She opens her mouth wide for a yawn. "We should get some sleep... but there's only one bed."

"You're right. I'm not really sure--"

The sprite cuts you off. "Oh just share a bed. Don't be like the northern kingdom. I heard the land down here was more fun."

We've definitely spent time together before, but it just feels weird being that blunt about it. Plus I gotta live with a lot of other girls, so it's a delicate balance. I can never tell if these hopeless hotties are gonna yell at me for something like that or not.

"What a terrible burden."

"It looks big enough to share," Eva says. "But uhm, I don't like wearing pajamas."

"You're not sleeping with me naked unless you want something to happen. I'll never get any rest like that!"

"Wh-What do you mean want something to happen? I just don't feel comfortable sleeping in clothes! Geeze. Just let me get changed then if you're going to be such a prude about it. I can't believe you can't even control yourself."

You sigh. "Let me just get into my own pajamas. Turn around, unless you want to watch."

Facing the bed, you remove your clothes. The feeling of slipping on your blue pajamas is fantastic after such a tiring day. They're soft and loose. You crawl into bed beneath the covers and let out a relieving exhale.

"Are you done yet?" you ask.

"Almost," she whispers. The light turns off behind you, so that must be true. Then you hear her slip into the bed as well.

You roll over to your back, and turn your gaze to the side. Eva looks incredibly cute laying there with the blanket up to her neck--her lavender hair messy, and her fluffy long ears pressing up against the wall above her head. She looks back to you with a smile, and a shimmer in her eyes. You lay there longer, and she scoots closer. She takes your arm, and squeezes her body against it.
