Chapter 6 by gunde gunde

Does Joanna find out yet?

Yes, she does

“Did you receive?” Joanna spoke into the intercom of her helmet. She doubted that she was the only Angel reporting the message back to HQ.
“Received,” Lieutenant Kim South replied from back onboard the Persephone, “continue with the original mission.”
Despite the deliberate calmness of her voice, Lieutenant South was getting worried. She had seen a fair bit of action, even if only via video link from the safety up on ship, and this situation was hardly ideal in her eyes.
Thankfully the video footage of the head slaver’s little speech was already being checked for subliminal messages and other types of electronic warfare, and once it had been secured that the message was not carrying any malicious coding it would be passed on to South’s superiors.
But for now, she remained in control of the mission and she didn’t want to be **** to let go off the initiative, it’s always better to act than to react.

Back down in the large room, Sergeant Miran was making her way over to Joanna, with Inez doing the same.
The three stripes and one star on her left shoulder-pad signalled that Victoria was the senior sergeant of the company, and it was she who had control of the forces down on the ground and she who had the responsibility to ensure that lieutenant South’s orders were realized.
“Spread out!” Joanna ordered her team, adding “Cover the hallway,” as Miran and Lopez drew nearer to her.
“Sergeant Green, Corporal Lopez,” Victoria greeted Joanna and Inez, both of which saluted her with a curt nod and returned her greeting with “Senior Sergeant.”

This was standard procedure, Miran knew the women of the company better than any officer, and she knew what the situation was like down on the ground, so it would be up to her to now decide how to proceed from here, making the call on how many squads would move down towards the pen and which ones it would be.
At 27, Victoria Miran was the single most experienced soldier in the company, having recently signed up for her third five-year tour, and Joanna trusted her to always make the right decision.
This time however, Miran was kept from giving out her orders when the “sky” above their heads suddenly went black, along with every other illumination in the room, causing the night-vision system in the Angels’ helmets to kick in and render the world in a smooth green colour.
Two seconds later, the night-vision suddenly went dead, along with the radio in Joanna’s helmet.

Suddenly finding herself blinded by the darkness and isolated from her command back on the Persephone, Joanna wondered what the hell it was that was going on. This was exactly what would happen if an EMP-discharger had been activated, but that was a very expensive and very restricted weapon, hardly the kind which a simple slaver could get his hands on.

Back on the Persephone, lieutenant South was swearing at the dark screens in front of her, the rest of the Ground Command Bridge suddenly having been immersed in darkness. Just before the ship had been knocked out, the surveillance systems had warned of an EMP having been fired, but there was no EMP-discharger with the range needed to cover the distance between the **** barge and the Persephone.

“Report!” Miran screamed out, to which the leaders of each squad responded according to a well-rehearsed schedule, with the members of Miran’s first squad declaring their status first, then the members of Joanna’s second squad, and so on. The situation was pretty bleak, each Angel had had every electronic system in her armour and weapons knocked out, and the usual time for them to reboot after being attacked by even the lowliest EMP-charge was a good half-hour, and while their gear still worked, their armour were no longer offering them communication and surveillance and their weapons had lost their guidance systems. And since the pulse had been strong enough to knock out their equipment’s anti-pulse defence as if it wasn’t there, Joanna was starting to suspect that it’d take a lot more than a half-hour before it began to function again

Now, the light returned to the room, and the room was bathed in light, with the screen flickering back to life.
The leader of the slavers’ was seen again, this time standing up in front of his throne, the blonde agent bobbing her head back and forth on his huge cock while the brunette had busied herself with sucking on his heavy balls, each of the two orbs being to big for her to get all of it into her mouth, even if that didn’t stop her from trying.
“So, do you wish to discuss the terms of your surrender?” The slaver asked, with an amused smile on his face.

Kim South could see the engines of the slaver ship burst to life, and her heart sank as she realized that the ship would now get a very comfortable head-start on the Persephone before it could take up the chase.
