"Hey Liam, wake up" I heard someone saying

"Uhn? Just five more minutes..."

"Wake up now! I think there's someone in our backyard" Mom exclaimed

I jumped out of bed at the same time, activating "man of the house" mode. My mind was a mile a minute, pondering all the possibilities of what might be happening. I need to ensure the safety of my family.

"Bring Ashley over here and lock the doors. If I don't come back in five minutes, call the police, "I ordered Mom while I was picking up my cell phone and a baseball bat.

I walked silently, watching every room in the house in the process. My leg kept shaking. I need to do this for them. Take care of them, Liam.

Damn, this would be a good time to have a gun. Well, the bat will have to do. I stopped by the kitchen and grabbed a knife just in case.

Getting close to the backyard I ducked and proceeded as slowly as possible. I couldn't hear any steps... Wait.... What the hell is that? Sounds like some squeaks.
I risked peeking the window: the backyard was quiet and I couldn't see much because of the darkness. At least I didn't pick up any movement.

There was a hit in the trash can, whoever it was, it sure would be there. Taken by the madness of a scared man I turned on the lights and ran out with the bat in his hands to face the invader.

Two damn raccoons were copulating in my backyard. Raccoon son of a bitch.

I remembered the girls and ran to the room to let them know everything was fine.

"Mom, Ashley, it's me! It's all clear." I said while Waiting for them to unlock the door.

Mom and Ashley were hugging each other in my room. Mom wore a white baby-doll, which highlighted her curvaceous body. It was impossible not to notice her nipples through the piece.

Ashley wore a very cute pink pajama, with a small short and a strap blouse.

"And who the hell was out there?" Mom asked

"Two raccoons were copulating, they must have shocked with something out there that scared you."

"Oh... I made all this scandal because of two raccoons..."Momsaid, a little embarrassed.

"You were so brave, Liam. Good job." She said, pulling me in for a hug.

"Thanks for going over there and checking, little brother. I'm a heavy sleeper so I heard anything, hahaha.

But now I feel a little safer knowing what it was now." Said Ashley, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Well, since everything has been settled, I'm going back to my bed, I have to get my beauty sleep back"

"I'm going back to sleep too, good night, son."

After saying goodbye to the girls, I couldn't fall asleep. The adrenaline was still running through my veins. I remembered the camera system I set up some time ago. Now was a good time to see what happened in the backyard.

Apparently the camera system was of the highest quality. The software recorded everything in cloud and organizes the videos daily.

And it all fit with what I saw, the raccoons really were to blame for the mess.

I remembered that day that I bet the race with Ashley, where we arrived and Robert and Mom were in the room.

-Look at that day right now! I don't like this guy around our girls.

After five minutes of discussion with this fucking voice in my head I finally played the video that corresponded to that day. I searched the video for the exact time and...

I was right, Robert was just giving one of his exotic massages in Mom.

Satisfied, idiot? You should be ashamed to doubt such a close friend. Next time I won't hear from you about these matters.

This conversation is over, be quiet and I'll get ready for bed.

I lay in bed again and started counting little lambs waiting for sleep that never came.
