A New Phone

After finishing up a good amount of lewds of myself, to periodically post for my followers I peeked outside to find a package resting outside my door. It was ordered for me, though I didn’t remember ordering anything.

“Huh, Sent by Ariadne Olympia from Nysus Corp.” It said on the package after opening it up it seemed to be a box that housed a new phone with a corporate advertising card.

“Congratulations! You were picked to participate in a free beta testing program! We at Nysus Corp are working on innovating technology that needs public testing. Inside the package you will find a state of art cell phone, packaged with Daedalus Encryption and Security. This is to ensure our technology and your information is protected. There are several pre downloaded apps that you will be testing. But the main app you will be testing is the Devotion Multiplier App! Setup your new free phone with a free phone plan to see what we are all about!” was all the card said. Curious. Seems like some sort of elaborate prank. But what the hell I do need a new phone, and not having to pay for a plan would really help.

When I opened the package it seemed like a regular normal smartphone. Sleek design, curved bevels for no sharp edges, glossy black, with company logo on the back in silver. Which was a simple overflowing chalice. Surprisingly I was able to turn on the phone without charging it, and it seemed to take USB type c cables, which it did provide, but no power adapter(which is fine. I do have one). Boot up was surprisingly fast, seemed to sync where my location, date, and time was without me having to do anything.

“Choose your name…” It prompted, with the first name already filled as Selene. How did you know that? This is getting creepy.

“Choose the name you want to be referred to”, it prompts again. “You can change it any time. But old names may still linger as Epithets.” It explains again.

“Selene Olympia” I chose typing it into the last name slot. It seemed that all it needed from start up. Damn I didn’t even now we got 5g service out here. Wonder how fast it is to browse? Well definitely seems like 5g. Contacts? How does it know all my contacts? And it has a customer service number pre-installed? Should I call it? No, I don’t think it will be much help. They probably are just as weird as this phone already is. Photos? Ok those are empty. Wait? It can import my photos from my camera wirelessly? No way. Well shit it can. I guess that will make uploading content a bit easier.

This is so bizarre. Apps? So beside the normal browser apps, there are three apps I have never seen before. Devotion Multiplier, Devotion Store, and Devotion Mail.
