LZ Day 5 - Get lunch

For lunch, a lot of the girls are planning a picnic. Bee is cool and plays along, making lunch baskets for them. Lotte and Julieta are going, so you and Zarya go as well.

It's a nice day and the girls don't go far into the woods. They find a nice clearing to eat, and the excitement is electric in the air. They want to meet their new teammates tomorrow and start practicing and scheming against the other teams. Some of them have already started to separate into groups with the girls who are on their teams.

You and Zarya are joined by Viti and Lara, who are excited about the week to come. Lara worries that she will have to leave to go do archaeology things, but she wants to try to play. You and Zarya don't talk much because you have to keep an eye on Lotte and Julieta, who seem to be OK... but Lotte is up to something. She caught you and Zarya watching and gave you this look. She is defintely up to something, but you and Zarya will throw her in the river if she upsets Julieta. Lotte has to realize that...

"I don't know all these players, but I've been traveling," Lara is saying as she looks at the roster.

"I follow Lili on Instagram. She has a butler." Viti shows a picture of a pretty, fancy-looking blonde.

Lara takes it and looks. "A gymnast. Just my type."

"What about this coach?" Viti asks.

"Never heard of her. Poor Ela. Her sister's still her coach. And Karin for a captain." Lara looks sympathetic.

You listen to them... but watch Lotte.

"What's your job now?" you ask Zarya.

"Physical training," she replies. That makes sense. The coaches that aren't managing teams are helping in other roles. Of course Zarya is the best weightlifting coach.

The girls return to the Lodge for dinner, and you and Zarya don't let your guard down. Lotte is as sneaky and patient as she is evil. She is just biding her time. You just can't let her take Julieta anywhere alone.

You can't eat, but you know you should. You are so worried that it is giving you a headache... Amy is at the lodge now. You wish you could get a massage from her, but you can't abandon your mission.

After dinner, Michelle comes to the table looking irritable.

"Riley, what is wrong with you? You should be with your team. Four of your girls are here," she says.

"Oh. Yeah." She's right... you are supposed to be the captain.

"And where have you been all day?" she asks, touching Zarya's shoulder. "We have planning to do. Let's go."

Michelle has a point... it's starting to get late. Zarya cannot argue with her because she does have a job to do. You watch Michelle take Zarya away and you know you won't see her again tonight...

You better go find your girls. First you look at Lotte and Julietta one last time. Lotte is looking toward you. What's that look on her face?

You are frozen with dread and realization. Lotte was never going to do anything to Julieta... this was her **** on you and Zarya. You start training for real tomorrow! She made you waste your day with Zarya by making you paranoid!

You look again and she is already gone... Julieta is alone. Lotte's mission is complete.

That bitch! She won again!
