I'd love pink!

Jim didn't really care that much for having a specific favorite color over any other particular color. He liked all colors, something that often drove the very analytical mother he had up the wall as it didn't really make a lot of sense to be equally predisposed to all sorts of colors and combinations. His father, ever the artist, also didn't really understand his liberalness when it came to selecting one or two preferred hues. Hell, even Laura had raised an eyebrow at him when she got that question wrong on Couples Jeopardy at a holiday party once.

Jim just really didn't see the point in caring too much about it.

But, as he sat there, he thought about the question again and in the context of the questionnaire. IF YOU WERE A GIRL...that meant that, had Jim been born a girl, would he have ended up liking the color pink? Was it too stereotypical to think that, as a girl, he would've liked pink and been exposed to it from birth? After all, his mother expected him to like any shade of blue and his father would've thought it was a given that girls like pink.

Jim shrugged and picked up his pencil. _Yes, I would love the color pink, especially the rich, lush pink colors, though any particular shade of pink would be nice. It wouldn't be too overwhelming but I would love to have pink around me all the time! _He finished writing it and paused, his mind for a moment amazed at how nice it looked in cursive, until he shook his head and reminded himself that he had always prided himself on having neat penmanship. It was a given, after all, with his parents being the way they were.

One of his coworkers knocking on his door caused Jim to turn and as he got up, his tie and shirt slowly grew lighter from its maroon red to a solid and subdued pink color with matching tie.

Getting home, Laura was out for the evening due to her teaching position at the college, Jim quickly threw together some leftovers and after sorting through the mail and checking messages, he settled down at his desk and typed out a few more reports from work. It took him several hours but after he was done for the evening, he took out the papers and looked at the first two questions he had answered. "Man, I must be a little tired...but what the hell..." He read the third question out loud...
