Chapter 20

While Vicki was out having a very interesting, to say the least, night, Roman just stood home thinking some things. It’s just him resting on the couch drinking some **** of a brand he doesn’t even remember the name to. He would rarely drink, the reason there’s any in the house is mainly because of Vicki.

He finds it more fun being sober with a drunk more fun than being drunk. And Roman isn’t to keen on trusting her in a drunk state. Never know if she were to get drunk to the point of her trying to flash someone only for them to find out about her flat chest. And she isn’t any better potty trained drunk than she is sober.

But tonight it’s Roman time to drink, not for pleasure but because he is just more stressed than usual. He worry’s greatly about Vicki and the state of her career if something were to go wrong. If someone was to recognize her or if she was to once again drink to the point of giving away her true identity.

But the more he thinks about it, Roman realizes what the root of his stress for actually is. It’s not that he’s worried for Vicki’s life, since he knows she can handle herself well, but for what his purpose in her life amounts to.

Throughout there wonder time together, Roman has always felt good about thinking about himself as Vicki’s protector or shoulder to lean on even when they got a whole lot more infinite. But if Vicki is able to get through a task like this all on her own without the need for him, then what is her use of him.

Although He’s bonded with her in one of the most sacred of ways, he still gets anxiety about it. Yes they may not be out of each other’s lives, but at that point without being able to do for her what he enjoys doing what is the point?

Roman knows he’s extremely over exaggerating to himself but what else can he do in a time like this? All he really feels like doing is drinking away and hoping Vicki comes back home safely.
