Meeting with God (1st)

Henry found himself back to the alien place with an utterly humongous tree that reached a sky and countless stars and planets as far as the eye could see.

A familiar voice sounded: "Why do you want to meet me?"

Henry inhaled a long breath to keep calm: "I think that time was just a dream. Now I know it isn't."

"Ha, you have used this power, yet you still didn't believe in it. Why?"

"Because of my attempt to contact you didn't succeed."

The voice laughed: "I have given you limited power, obviously my own will be stronger. Simply said, I can choose to not listen to your call."

"Then why did you agree to meet me now?"

"Because of a certain reason, which I didn't want to reveal to you now. You can ask anything else."

Henry calmly answered: “I want to know how this power work.”

"Hm, I think I have already explained to you in the Introduction chapter, right?"

Henry was puzzled: "What Introduction chapter?"

"That... Never mind, forget it. Your tiny brain wouldn't be able to process it anyway. Ok, I'll grant favor and remind you: 'your new abilities won't work on you or anything else if it doesn't also involve a relative of yours'. This is the Requirement Rule."

“It has a name. Does that mean there are other rules? Tell them all to me please!”

"Sorry, time for the ruling is over."

"WHAT? But you have all the time in the world! You have even said you were bored.”

“Exactly! I’m bored, so I don’t want this to end soon. Spoil everything from the start kills all the fun. So here’s the condition: whenever we meet, I’ll tell you a rule, and reward you with a piece of information that you need.”

“But...”

“This is not a negotiation.”

Henry thought for a while: “Ok, please tell me what I need to know the most giving the current circumstances.”

"A wise choice. Here is my advice: go to find your former teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard and ask for a book."

"What book?"

"Find out yourself."

Before Henry could say anything more, he woke up on the bed.
