The remainder of the day is spent recovering and pondering about what's to come. With Snow's supplied holy water and the ring given to you by Queen Catherine II, you feel a little bit more confident that you might actually be able to take down the Vampire Queen, though her reputation proceeds her. Anyone that everybody refers to as a queen tends to be a powerful individual. Nevertheless, the chaos of Delphi's game of Truth or Dare, or rather just Dare, was enough to take your mind off things for the time being.

Hopefully, you have time to think about things further.

After hours of lounging, eating, and generally being lazy, the sun starts to set. You're all wearing pajamas already, so it isn't much more work to get ready for bed. You soon head to your own room to get some alone time.

The rain seems to have stopped. Outside your window, you can see a dimly lit city with a fresh coat of water reflecting the sparkling glow of the moon above. The city is going to sleep, so you might as well join it. There are a lot of dangers ahead and you'd rather not stew on it. In a perfect world, you wouldn't need to hunt down any vampires at all. You could live a life of luxury here in the city without any problems whatsoever. Though it doesn't seem to ever be that easy.

You get into bed and sigh softly. Eventually, you shut your eyes.

Sa'dis isn't even the only one people call Demon King out there. He's just moving in and causing problems. Why do I need to deal with this? And what the hell is with this William Cresswell guy? Damn it. Even if we deal with Mistress Catherine, apparently there's a spymaster Lynx, the Flame General Ithic, and possibly more.

With a long drawn-out groan, you clutch your head between your hands.

I need to stop making these enemies somehow.
