A mysterious guest...

Gene turned around to see a human woman standing a few feet behind him, within the throngs of party-goers, unsure if he heard her through the loud music. 5 foot 5 inches tall; naturally redheaded; straight, long back-length hair swept behind both shoulders; pale, soft young-looking features; soft, pointed chin; mild resting bitch face; green eyes; and a smattering of freckles. Her boobs seemed approximately D-sized. She wore a loose, lavender v-neck shirt, with one shoulder shifted off to the side-arm by design, and a darker, violet dress. But it was otherwise difficult to discern features due to the low lighting.

"Why, hello there, sexy." Her voice sounded deep and loud, but also kind of y--

"I'm twenty one. No exceptions." The woman warned, as she confidently raised her head, seeming also slightly snobbish. Clearly, she knew her looks were confusing Gene about her age. She slowly walks towards the King. As she came closer, it became clear she had a slight, golden ring lining her inner iris. Gene could just feel the enigmatic young woman's piercing gaze seemingly penetrating his soul. Somehow, it was possible to discern certain features anyway, despite the low lighting, Gene noticed.

"Name's Karyssa. Nelson. Nice to meet you, sire." Karyssa respectfully curtsied. Gene felt incredibly validated and appreciated. Sure, he was already kinda creeped out, but the positive feelings heavily outweighed that, and so he thanked Karyssa and greeted her. They shook hands before Karyssa grabbed the seat next to him.

"Sooooo... I love fucking with people's heads like a Lovecraft novel. Wouldn't you agree, my dear?" Karyssa winked at Gene and smirking as she sat down, clearly referencing Gene's initial confusion when they met. Gene was again mildly creeped out, but also already felt like he was vibing exceptionally well with Karyssa, like they knew each other and got along pretty well despite having literally just met each other. Karyssa clasped her hands, resting her shoulders on the bar, and resting her head on her clasped hands, looking at Gene.

"Oh, absolutely!" Gene enthusiastically exclaimed, trying to put aside his creeping feelings. During his last few months on Belle Hades, Gene picked up an interest in Lovecraftian styles and themes during his free time, and so was already kind of into Karyssa just for that, in addition to finding Karyssa insanely hot to begin with.

"I actually found out a few days ago that one of my old favorite childhood video games was partly inspired by Lovecraftian themes." Gene continued.

"Uh huh?" Karyssa eagerly nodded, with a big grin on her face, clearly interested in Gene.

"Yeah, it kinda explains why I've suddenly had an interest in Lovecraftian stuffs, when I started playing that old game again a few months ago." Gene finished.

"Well cool!" Karyssa nodded again once as she rests her forearms on the counter. Karyssa finally noticed Adelle glaring her as she slowly finished wiping down a glass.

"I'll have what he's having." Karyssa was curiously unafraid of Adelle's bright pink eyes, even upon first sight.

Adelle slowly nodded once, but relaxed her expression a little bit as she started preparing a virgin piná colada for Karyssa too.

"Ahhhh, so where on Belle Hades are you frrrrrr..." Nucleina asked as she approached the two from behind and sat down next to Karyssa, somehow mistakenly believing Karyssa to be one of the secret Belle Hadean volunteers she brought over.

"Guess." Karyssa said with a smirk and an elevated chin.

"How dafuque would I know, I'm not a witch!" Nucleina protested. Karyssa snickered. Gene took a sip, watching the two ladies.

"Wellllll... I guess you'll find out soon enough then, huh?" Karyssa sarcastically mocked Nucleina, who was rapidly losing patience.

"Do you have any idea who you are talking to? I. Am. The President of my planet, a--"

"Oh sweet, I just met my first space alien." Karyssa smiled, proud of her accomplishment of offending the alien. Gene was enjoying the drama unfolding as he took a few sips from his drink.

"Wha...?" Nucleina finally connected the dots. Karyssa is human. "Now listen here, you little b--" Karyssa suddenly interrupts and ****-holds Nucleina's upper torso and neck with her left hand, outing herself as a particularly powerful witch; possibly the "Other" human with Gene's abilities that Nucleina kept secret from him. Obviously she indeed developed them on her own. Karyssa startled most folks nearby, except the supernaturals. Adelle mentally facepalmed as she finished Karyssa's drink and placed it in front of her.

"No. You listen to me, you little shit." Karyssa began, pulling Nucleina face-to-face with her. Gene smirked as he was already getting pretty turned on by Karyssa's power. "I don't care what your status is. The fact that I am the only other human with magic powers like my dear King behind me, does not make it any less clear what our destiny is. YOU of all people should know this." Clearly, Karyssa knew Nucleina hid her from Gene back on Belle Hades.

"And you can call me any juvenile insult you want, sweetie; but at the end of the day, I can still kick your ass. Is that clear, m'lady?" Nucleina whimpered as she quickly and nervously nodded "Yes."

"Good." Karyssa exclaimed as she let go of the **** hold. Nucleina panted as tried to catch her breath, and trying to regain composure. Karyssa turned to take a few sip from her new drink, before looking at Gene. "So, I think you know what I mean by 'Destiny" now, right?" Karyssa asked him with a flirtatious wink. Nucleina scowled as she regained her composure, quite annoyed at how meeting her now-future Queen for the first time turned out. She still wanted to know where the fuck Karyssa came from anyway.

"I'll drink to that!" Gene agreed, and toasted with Karyssa. "No other human girl even wants me anyway." Gene confessed to feeling.

"Aw, honey..." Karyssa began empathetically rubbed the King's back. Gene instantly felt soothed, as Karyssa added a magical touch to her comforting rub. Gene still felt a little socially anxious too, but figured it'd be all right.

After taking a few deep breaths to calm down, Nucleina quite reluctantly put aside her feelings, and decided to try to at least get to know Karyssa a bit more.

"Anyways, I'm Nucleina O'Nuclea. Nice to meet you, ma'am"

"Karyssa Nelson. Nice to meet you too, miss." The two shook hands. Reluctantly. Gene, still just watching the convo, finished his drink. Karyssa took a few sips of hers.

"Anyways," Nucleina continued. "I'm curious, I take it you got here via your powers?"

"Mhm!" Karyssa nodded while sipping. "Teleported here from Minneapolis." She finished after sipping. Gene suddenly got worried...

"Wait. Did we...?" Gene began, wondering if they accidentally destroyed Karyssa's home.

"Nope. Home is intact. My rich mom kicked me out a few days ago after catching me discovering these powers."

"You JUST discovered these?!" Nucleina was shocked. Karyssa must be a hella fast learner!

"Mhm!" Karyssa responded enthusiastically. "Obviously I'm a fast learner, haha." She chuckled and winked.

"Figures." Nucleina thought. Gene was enjoying this conversation, but not doing or saying much.

"But yeah, I was living with my mom in a fancy rich neighborhood, Bourgeoise Hills, a fair bit away from Minneapolis where I was born." Everyone at the bar snickered.

"Bourgeoise... Hills...? SERIOUSLY?!" Adelle was incredulous. So were Gene and Nucleina.

"Absolutely! My fam are capitalist pigs anyway." Karyssa retorted.

"And your mom kicked you out for having powers? Phhht. Typical 'muricans." Gene commented.

"Haha, I know, right?" Karyssa agreed. "Actually, wait..." she hesitated, piqueing everyone else's interest.

"Oh yeah, that was only half of it. During the argument about my witchy sexiness..." She began, as Nucleina snickered. "My incel cousin, staying over for Christmas and New Year's, came in and snitched on me for pity fucking him last week."

"Wait, WHAT?!" Nucleina reacted, shocked. She also had to suppress a smirk. "Jackpot, baby!" she thought to herself. This HAD to be Gene's dream woman.

"Yeah, that pissed me off. We're both adults. I offered to take his virginity on the condition he kept quiet about it; asshole stabbed me in the back. So now I'm homeless." Karyssa sulked. Nucleina naturally felt bad about Karyssa's situation, and sympathized with yer Gene tapped her shoulder to get her attention.

"Not anymore, my Queen." Gene was incredibly nervous to say that; for again, they had literally JUST met, and hardly knew each other, And yet, this was absolutely a dream come true, defying all logic and social precedence, and they already felt at home with each other.

"Ooooh, I like the sound of that, honey!" Karyssa complimented, before taking another sip of her drink. Just hearing that from Gene made her wet. Karyssa was definitely gonna enjoy her upcoming eternity with Gene. Nucleina decided she'd have a beverage too.

"I'll have what they're having, mixed together." Nucleina hoped for an interesting cocktail. Adelle snickered.

"It's just the same one, unfortunately."

Nucleina dropped her head and snickered too. "I'll take it anyway."

"Oh hey, Karyssa." Gene began.

"Mhm?" Karyssa acknowledged as she finished taking a few sips of her piná colada.

"Have you seen the laws of the land, yet?" Gene asked as he immediately saw a right hand blue thumbs down gesture rise from behind the future Queen. Nucleina was leaning over, glaring at Gene, shaking her head and giving him a thumbs down. She knew exactly what Gene was gonna do, and was trying to stop him from potentially embarrassing himself, knowing Karyssa was still a human, soon-to-be-former American.

"Shut up, Nukie." Karyssa looked to her left since she was fully facing Gene. Nucleina dropped her arm back down, and her jaw, before glaring at Karyssa in contempt, as Gene snickered. Karyssa continued, looking at Gene again, "I'm afraid I haven't, yet."

"In that case, you might really, REALLY like it." Gene nodded. Karyssa smirked as she could tell a joke was coming. Nucleina slowly and mildly shook her head in disapproval, as Adelle gave her the piná colada, and started slurping.

"Yeah?"

"Free Love Alabama all over! Woohoo!"

Karyssa burst out laughing. She loved it! Much to Nucleina's relief, as she sipped her drink. Adelle snickered, smiled and shook her head. Karyssa laughed for a few more moments, and responded, "Oh my god, Gene, you rock! HAHAHA!" Karyssa and Gene fist pumped as she continued laughing her ass off.

As Karyssa slowly calmed down Nucleina took a look around. The crowd dancing the night away was beginning to disperse, most going home, some to look at the comet.

"Oh! The comet!" Nucleina remembered! She checks the clock and realize it's time to go outside soon. Nucleina reminds everyone about the comet and they go out too look. A comet that has been in the news since its discovery early last year, with the unsexy name "Johnson 2019 C7", or simply "Comet Johnson" (spurring all the immature jokes and innuendo from such a nickname) was just an hour away from rising over the southwest horizon.

However, Comet Johnson wasn't the talk of last year because of its name, but because it had the largest nucleus of any comet observed in modern history, a whopping 25 miles wide. On top of that, it also had the most explosive surface chemistry and internal composition, so by the time the TPE was officially founded, Comet Johnson is now already two magnitudes brighter than Venus at her brightest.

Right now, it was still only 9:20 pm, but due to the positions of Earth and Comet Johnson, Pluton Island was already beginning to see the tail end of Comet Johnson rise above the horizon to the South East. The remainder of the party was spent on the roof of Gene's Hangout, watching Comet Johnson's bright, majestic tail rise over the fogless, icy island for the first time in the Plutonian Empire's history.
