Go to football field at recess

After history class i hanged out a little with May before she went to the library with her friends, i then walked around campus with Quincy and Matthew before reaching the football field where it seemed like everyone hanged out there.

I decided to explore a little just to meet new people and familiarize myself with this area, we walked through the side of the field and went to the bleachers where some people were sitting - they were all talkikg while watching the game that the popular guys were playing in the field. As i we were walking towards the bleachers to take a seat i saw a group of girls hanging out there - i noticed that they were the popular girls that i saw at the beginning of school. Quincy apparently knew one of those girls and said hi to her, she replied

"Hi Quincy how are you?" Before looking at me and asking "Is that your new friend?" Quincy nodded and the other girls turned their attention to me. I introduced myself by saying "Hello girls... i'm André, one of the new guys around here" after i said that the girl that asked that said "Well hello... i'm Cathy, nice to meet you" Oh yeah, Cathy... i remember her i thought before looking at the girl who was next to Cathy as she was about to talk.

"I'm Daphne, this right here is Lucy..." she pointed at her friend that was behind her and continued talking "There's Sarah and other girls around here... we don't usually talk to new guys but this is an exception because you are Quincy's friend" she said it with a disinterested tone and judgemental look like she was bored and didn't want to talk to me, probably because she thought that talking with me could ruin her reputation. I looked at Quincy to see that he was smirking because he knew that the popular girls talked to him and that made him popular aswell.

I never really liked popular people that only hang out with other popular people, i thought that maybe they weren't like that but they seemed like the type of people that are entitled and arrogant because they have a few popular friends. I was hoping that they wouldn't be that type but i was still a bit mad that i probably wouldn't be able to hang out with these guys because i was new and unpopular.

"Well we were just hanging out and i thought that maybe i could talk to you but you probably wouldn't because it might ruin your reputation... i understand it, now i know who i can hang out with" i said with a sarcastic tone, Daphne didn't look so pleased about it but Cathy tried to argue saying "Come on... we barely just met, we are not like that... well, maybe a little but it's just that we don't really hang out with nerds and weird... wait, let me rephrase that... we are not used to talking with people from outside our circle of friends so maybe we could try to start off on the right foot..."

Cathy looked like the most friendly out of all of those girls and clearly she didn't want me to have a bad impression of them even though Daphne was still looking at me with a judgmental look. Quincy stepped in and said "Don't worry girls... he is really cool, you just don't know him, wait until you hang out with him and then you will see what i'm talking about... Daphne don't be like that, you always hate people for no reason, give him a chance" Daphne seemed to reject the idea of me being around her but for some reason she sighed and muttered "Fine..."

Cathy looked excited and exclaimed "Of course we would hang out with you... Quincy is one of my best friends so if you are his friend then i'm sure you are cool... come over here, take a seat next to us" we went over to their seats and as we did i looked at Daphne's face - it was like she hated me even though we didn't even know eachother.

Quincy sat next to Cathy and she hugged him- apparently they were good friends since elementary school - Matthew and i sat behind them, next to Lucy and we watched the game together.

It was pretty uncomfortable - Quincy and Cathy were the only ones that were enjoying the game because they were friends but i felt how Daphne and Lucy were staring at us, judging every aspect of our bodies - some might say that they were checking us out because they liked us but i knew that they were trying to pick anything to despise us. It was weird because Matthew was already in this school, or atleast with this class for a few years - he probably already knew this girls but despite this they were still trying to judge him.

I was really worried because i knew thag they were probably just going to hate me because i was ugly Oh wait... this isn't middle school, i no longer have acne and i'm fairly good looking... thank gosh i thought. My appearance was a big concern of mine - since i was insecure about myself i obsessed about little things and tried to do anything to look good, i spent like 2 hours a day just looking in the mirror but those days were now gone so now i didn't have to worry about my face, although i was still normal looking and i didn't attract any girls... or that's what i thought.

After a while of wathing the game and talking a bit with Matthew i noticed that the guys on the field were playing pretty good - i tried to see who they were but i was interrupted by a girl that was approaching us.

"Hi guys!" The girl said while getting closer and then sitting next to Daphne who said to her "Hello Sarah, what are you doing?" Sarah... oh yeah, i also saw her at the first class but i didn't see her much after that... actually i haven't seen all of these girls for a while... maybe is because they always hang out here or because i only talked with Quincy and the cute girls i thought before Sarah replied to Daphne's question.

"You know i'm only here to look at the hot boys" she said while looking at the field where all of the guys were playing, Lucy seemed upset by her comment and she stood up, then approached Sarah before saying at her face "Are you looking at my boyfriend?!" Sarah smiled at her and replied "You know i am..." they then started arguing about this boyfriend that Lucy had - i didn't know what was going on but then Cathy got into the discussion and said to Sarah "You know that you shouldn't be staring at Justin like that... even though we all think he is hot we agreed that if someone got him we wouldn't try to steal him... remember what you promised"

Sarah looked at her and said "You know i'm just joking, of course i wouldn't steal anyone's boyfriend but i do have to admit that i like him"

The other girls looked at the sky while probably thinking about the same thing before they all said at the same time "Oh Justin..." i thought Who the fuck is this Justin guy and why does he have all of the popular and pretty girls practically moaning her name... he must be the biggest gentleman or an absolute douchebag that treats every girl like shit but they still like him because he is hot
