Recess time

As i left the classroom i looked at my left to see Matthew and his friends going outside, i quickly followed them and joined their conversation.

"Hey, how's it going?" I said, they turned around and Quincy replied "Good, how about you"After a while of talking and normal bantering like friends as we were walking around the campus, we reached the end of the long building at the left side - the one that had the huge ramp to the second floor, but we were in the first one where the music, arts and other special classrooms were. When we reached the end i was able to see that after the huge field in the middle there was a big football court - it had long bleachers that sorrounded the area, a running track that was the perimeter of the football court and other stuff that you would normally find in this place.

At my left there was another area - there was a nice sidewalk next to an open area, it was like a forrest or something but if you kept going left or straight through the sidewalk you were going to reach another huge building - this one looked older than the other ones, or at least it wasn't a modern style. I wanted to go that way but the group continued going in circles around the campus. I didn't talk that much, i was just admiring the space and environment around me - since i was at the end of the field, where the football court began, i looked at the main building that seemed to be miles away. Because of the inclination that this place had, it was really cool to see up and look at all of the people hanging out in the field and some others in the main building. Now that i notice it, what's up with that... it looks like is 4 stories tall but i never saw a staircase... i guess is huge i said to myself.

We continued walking and talking about some general stuff - they were really into games and geek shit, so was i but i wasn't paying attention because this place looked so good and i needed to inspect every detail from every building, even the trees and the benches from the field.

We finally made our way back to the main hall that was at the main entrance and then they just went out their way to do whatever - that meant i was left alone, without nothing to do.

I thought while i stood still again in the center of the main hall I could go and explore the campus by myself but it would be weird, maybe i just go to a bench and wait for the next class to start. I looked at my phone to see the time and i realized that there was still 32 minutes before the next class so it would be a long time just sitting in a bench while browsing in social media or something.

Well i still did it, i sat in a bench next to the main classroom and pulled out my phone - i was going to wait there until the next class but maybe i could find someone to talk to...
