The brothel functions as both a place to get sex and as a place where people could rent cheap slaves to either fuck for extended periods of time or to use for adventuring purposes. It served as a cheaper alternative to permanent ownership but came with the downside of the slaves themselves being of less quality.

Most of the slaves in service in these places were usually sold via orphanages as most would be sold by the debt accrued from the long term raising of them unless paid for by a charitable act.

The people who frequent these places tend to simply be sadistic or novice adventurers looking for bait.
