Less than Grateful Police

Rahmi emerged from the building just in time for two squad cars to pull up. Great, she thought to herself. The MPD were always less than grateful for her help. Expecting some trouble, she called in her aerial mech.

"Good evening officers!" She called cheerily, taking a few steps towards the officers. Two emerged from each car, all with guns drawn.

"Freeze supe!" One of them yelled, pointing his weapon at the hero. The other policemen followed his lead.

"Oh, speaking of freeze, I got a supervillain for you guys! Antifreeze, think you guys lost him recently. Got him nice and tied up for you!" The men seemed less than pleased by Rahmi's upbeat attitude, keeping their weapons drawn.

"We have you on the destruction of property and disturbing the peace!" The officer yells again. "Please exit the armor and surrender to the authorities!"

"Dude, that was the other guy!" Voltage groaned, rolling her eyes. The police in this town were completely useless. Luckily, her air mech just happened to be within range. "Whatever, just make sure you arrest Antifreeze. I really don't want to have to beat him again!"

"If you do not comply we will be **** to-" Rahmi didn't hear the rest, her aerial mech swooping down and drowning him out. It grabbed her right off the street, carrying her into the sky.

"God, I love the shocked looks on their faces!" Laughing to herself, she checked the time. "Damn, its only midnight! Plenty of time left in the night!" Pulling up her scanner, she perused the city. Mugshots and in-progress footage filled her view as she searched for her next mission.

"Hmmmmm, trouble in the village but Amaze is already on it. Some petty crime near here but the police should have that covered. Man, everything seems to already have a hero." Rahmi was still scrolling when something curious popped up on her screen: a message. She had only given a select few people the ability to message her, mostly other heroes she had fought crime with.
