Lucia

Eva and I made our way downstairs, when we walked in, Eva's mother looked at us and then gave Eva a second look. Her eyes went to Eva's butt and her lips tightened. "Brenda, do you really have to run around naked in front of your family?" she said, the anxiety clear in her voice. "Mom, I'm NOT naked," Brenda protested. "You may as well be," her mother replied, "Why don't you go wear some pants?"

"Oh mom, ALL the girls dress like this down here," Eva insisted, pleading her case. "Moreover, I'm taking Zoey snorkeling by the reef today." she explained.

Before they went any further, her dad and brother walked in. I got a kick out of how her dad tried to pretend he didn't notice both our asses on display. Her brother was a little less circumspect, openly staring at our butts. I couldn't really blame him.

Eva's mother served us breakfast, croissants with Raspberry jam and some eggs. It was delicious.

We were doing dishes while the guys went outside to look around at the beach when someone knocked at the door, and then it opened. In walked a young girl, presumably in her early twenties. She was cute, maybe a few inches shorter than me with long straight brunette hair. She had the type of tan that told you she was in the sun all the time, not just for vacation. She wore a flowery romper with a deep neckline that showed off her ample cleavage.

The girl walked in like she owned the place and when Eva saw her, they both reached out and hugged each other. Then she noticed me standing there and looked at Eva, waiting to be introduced.

"Lucia, this is Zoey, the girl I told you about from school," Eva said, "Zoey, this is Lucia, we work together at the Rescue Center." We gave each other a polite hug and said a few things to get to know each other. So this was the local friend that Brenda had mentioned during our trip down here.

"So what's the plan for today then?" Lucia continued, "By the way, we're all set for tomorrow. You're gonna LOVE it, trust me."

I assumed she was talking about the bachelorette party. I wondered what she had planned and whether she would let me in on it the secret but that was all she said for the moment before changing subject. Eva had obviously given up trying to pry the details out of her and let the comment go by.

"I thought we'd head up to Palau and take one of the snorkeling tours," Eva explained, "Zoey's never even swam in the ocean and I don't think the others have ever been out to a reef before." she said referring to Cathy and Celeste, Eva's friends from home who would be joining us on the way.

Lucia just nodded and they started to debate which place would be best to go. Each of them appeared to have their favorite but finally they settled on one. "Well, THAT'S settled, so what are we going to do until then?" Lucia asked Eva.

So far I had been sort of left out of the conversation but that was OK with me. Whatever they wanted to do I was sure would be fine with me. Personally, I wouldn't mind getting to know Lucia better - a LOT better.
