Yeah, I guess we can go out.

"Please Emily?" he practically begs.

"No thank you Ma-- hm..." you stop as you consider your options. As if to drive your thoughts home; another coworker wanders by and lightly pinches your ass as they pass. You jump with surprise as your face begins to turn red.

"Yes, Marky," you announce with determination, "I would love to go out with you."

You almost laugh as Marky's legs seem to suddenly go weak on him causing him to almost stumble to the floor right in front of you.

"That's... that's... GREAT," he says as he puts on a lopsided grin, "I... uh... I'll meet up with you after work." He wanders off, though you can feel his eyes on you until he finally turns a corner.

"There," you sigh, "that should hold them off."

Word must spread particularly quickly about you; because the next hour is actually one of the calmest you've had to experience as far as fending off advances from the opposite sex. 'I guess that was a good idea after all,' you conclude as you return to work, 'I may need to string Marky along for a while.' You can't help but smirk at the thought.

So uneventful is the rest of your day, in fact, that you've almost completely forgotten about the whole 'date' thing before Marky suddenly shows up beside you; car keys in hand.

"Ready to go babe?" he asks eagerly.

"Go?" you echo in confusion, "where are we go--oh! Right, I meant what are we doing this evening?" You're not really looking forward to this; so you're hoping that he's at least got something fun planned.

"Well," he say as he sweeps his hair back in what you assume he must feel is a dashing fashion, "I figured a movie and maybe something to eat."

"Alright," you reply with a shrug as you proceed to follow him out to his car, "what movie?"

He flashes you a quick grin before he replies, "We'll go see...
