A Vampire

Viviene drifts, a shadow in hot winds of hell. Then she feels it. It isn’t so much as a summoning, but merely an invitation, a crack between planes more than large enough for her to slip through.

She crosses planes as little more than cloud of shadow. After eons in hell, the cool, dark forest feels invigorating. Her senses are assaulted by an array of new things. But, one draws her attention more than any other.

It is a man and there is light within him. It draws her like a moth to a flame. She attempts to take form. It has been so long the process is frustratingly slow.

Pale flesh begins to take shape from the darkness. She coalesces into the feminine ideal. She strokes the man’s cheek.

He turns staring at first, at her perfect pale breasts. His eyes move up, finally meeting hers. She grins knowing he is lost in them.

She steps into his embrace and begins kissing him. With each kiss she steals the light from within him. Viviene is ravenous. Her kisses are so violent, her petite fangs draw blood.

She ignores the blood frantically feeding from him.

Screams from his two companions threaten to break her spell, but it is too late for him.
