Chapter 2

How are you going to go about getting the girls?
Go Greek.
You decide Greek life is for you. It doesn’t take very long for you to look up your highschool acquaintance’s name, Ben Plutowski, and phone number online. You give him a call, and explain that you’re interested in checking out his frat. He explains that pledging can’t formally begin until next month. However, he continues, they are having a welcome-back party for the brothers tonight. He says he can get you in, even though you aren’t a brother. He gives you the address and tells you to ask for him when you get to the door. You agree and are about to hang up when he shouts over the receiver, “Oh! One more thing—this is supposed to be a party for just the brothers, so don’t go bringing a whole group of freshmen looking for free booze. But, if you want to bring a guest,” his voice is suggestive enough so that you get what he means by guest, “feel free. If not, he says, we’ll have a few ladies there too.” You agree and hang up.
You hadn’t thought about inviting guests, but now you wonder. If you brought a few of your neighbors, it wouldn’t be that big a deal, and it would certainly make you popular in the dorms. Of course, you realize that may also be a bad start to trying to get into the frat. There was one girl though, a pretty red-head who lived down the hall from you. You are tempted to invite her, although that may be too forward. Or you could just go stag. That would probably be the safest, and it sounded as if there were going to be some females at the party anyways.
What will you do?
