Nikki needs more data

Here's the thing: I didn't invent SilicaSmart (patent pending) to make sex toys.

It'll get used for that by someone, obviously. All great human inventions get their economic stability in their potential for sex. If people didn't want porn, we never would've made such widespread use of the printing press. But my goals were broader.

Two paired sheets of synthetic material, where pressure applied to one would be replicated in the other. Imagine the potential. Scientists studying radioactive or toxic materials wouldn't have to put themselves at risk or wear bulky, inconvenient safety equipment any more -- grab some SilicaSmart and do all your experiments remotely, with perfect touch feedback and human dexterity. Surgery too complicated and variable for a robot, but tricky for a human to do? Slip on some SilicaSmart gloves and work using a 10x scaled down proxy hand, with ten times the movement precision. The signal range was far too short for things like seafloor exploration of anything like that, but still...

Oh, yeah; the signal. That was my proudest achievement in inventing SilicaSmart. The amount of data moving between paired sheets was massive, but I'd been able to render that irrelevant through specific pairing on point-to-point signalling with... well, it was complicated. But the data you could send was limited only by the size of the sheets, which meant this was going to revolutionise computing. This was going to invent an entirely new type of computer, fundamentally different from our binary microchip systems. SilicaSmart was going to change the world.

But I knew I'd never get the kinks worked out if I were distracted by two oafish slobs stomping around my house and watching TV at high volume all the time, so I'd found a way of solving multiple problems at once. Control a guy's dick, you control the guy. And I needed proper field tests of the material's function outside a laboratory environment. Given that Dave and Steve were too stupid to understand the mechanics of SilicaSmart and had less of a risk of biased feedback than my lab team would, they made perfect subjects. And the human genitals have the highest density of touch receptors in the body, so if I could get perfect feedback on the genitals, I knew my resolution was good enough for any human-machine application. Lab tests had shown resolution high enough, but it was good to get actual field data, as I'd said.

Anyway, there were several complications here we hadn't tested for in the lab, mostly related to size difference. The boys were well hung, but the gags had to be made to fit comfortably in their mouths, meaning that the scale of the shafts wasn't 1:1. And, of course, their penises would change size when erect; thus, the resolution of the cocksleeves and their scale relative to the gags was variable. And their shapes would, of course, change, but the shape of the gags were fixed. There were a lot of complications, and this sort of test was perfect for determining which, if any, were likely to cause problems and should be prioritised in further development.

I needed a practical demonstration of that variability. I needed some active feedback on cocksleeves covering penises becoming erect.
