Who are you!?

"Who are you?" you demand to the old lady.

She looks at you with blank eyes, almost as if looking through you. "It doesn't matter who I am, look at me, I need that necklace back!" she raises her voice, "I am only 25 years old..."

Your jaw drops in surprise. How could this old lady be 25, she looks to be at least twice that.

"It's the curse of the necklace. It drains you, it becomes you and without it you turn into this," she said while pointing at herself.

"But I have worn it. Are you telling me if I take it off I will become like you, old and ugly?" you question.

The woman grins and her teeth are black. "Yes my dear... so hand it over now," she demands again.

"I refuse! How do I know you're not some crazy old woman and what you're saying isn't just BS?" you say.

"Very well than, keep it. But know this, there will be others. The necklace has created quite a following, and they will come," she said.

Before you have a chance to ask who, she is gone out the door. Quickly you get dressed then chase after her, but when you reach the street she is gone. You decide to head back to your motel and get some sleep. You hail a taxi and the first one pulls over and you climb in.

"Where to?" asks an attractive redhead from the front seat.

You give her the destination and she pulls away from the curb. You stare out the window watching as the buildings go by, then you see your motel pass by.

"Hey, you missed it! It’s back there," you tell the driver.

She reaches up and adjusts the rear view mirror so she can see you. You see her eyes in the mirror, they are a deep shade of green.

"We're going to have a little fun," She tells you as she continues to drive.
